THE HACKETT FAMILY

I am Diana Flower from Kansas and I have to brag that our weather this year, so far, has been nothing to complain about. Early in June I think we had a couple days of a100 degrees and then that was it. We had the perfect amount of rain and my garden came out full of wonderful vegies. The last two years my garden kinda sucked.

   If this great weather holds we want to ride our bikes up to Wisconsin to visit family and friends. We want to leave Kansas on Sept. 23rd and arrive in Big Bend on the 25th. We will be getting pretty close to La Cross if anyone is interested in hookin up for lunch or something. Not really sure about the times yet...probably wont know for sure until we are in the 50 mile range. I do know that it will be daylight because I don't ride at night...well anyway...we have had middle 50's at night and upper 70's in the day.....sure hope that continues for the next couple weeks.  Later gator
